They worked great initially, I was glad the key couldn't be easily purchased from AutoZone after someone had previously removed one of my cheaper lock tabs. The car they were in was stored and not driven. We found the front of a padlock lying on the ground next to the car. There are no tool marks so it hasn't been tampered with, it just looks like it fell off. It's rusty underneath what should be in there and we're in Texas so we don't have road salt rust. I think it was made at the factory from poor quality or faulty materials. Now we should try to figure out how to get the rest of the nut off the car, hopefully without having to drill the bolt out of the hub or damage the wheel.
