even with zip ties, the mice still got out

I zip-tied all the corners, but the mice were still able to bend the wire and escape! Once I put it together with all the zip ties, I have NO idea how I'm going to clean it and mice poop A LOT! They are back in their tiny cage until I can figure out what to do about the bar spacing and bending.
I have no answer for that yet.
