Review on Gooby Comfort X Head in Harness - Choke-Free X Frame - No Pull Dog Harness for Small & Medium Dogs - Ideal Indoors & Outdoors by Kelly Haywood

My 16lb boston terrier has had this harness for five months and I love it! It looked more comfortable, fit well and the fittings were much lighter than similar harnesses. She pulls when we leave so I was happy with this purchase as she couldn't choke on this pendant. The problem arose when I strapped her on a leash last night so she could go outside for a bit. It's good that I stood in front of the door to look at her and didn't leave. She saw an animal in the backyard and ran after it. The straps parted at the seams and she freed herself. Thank god I managed to catch her before she caught that animal or ran into the street. I never write bad reviews but just wanted to warn anyone with a dog that can pull/run that this harness may not be the best choice. EDIT: I emailed Gooby about this and the customer service has been fantastic. They were very apologetic. After talking to my husband about my dog's temperament, they suggested trying one of their harnesses that was specifically designed for dog pulling. They sent us their latest model to test. Many companies today have poor customer service. I was very impressed with how much this company cares about our satisfaction. After inspecting the new suspension, we decided to give this brand a second chance.
