Our pug Sally has such a wide chest that I've never found a harness that fits him that isn't too tight or that he can easily slip out of. Decided to risk it and sooooo happy, it fits perfectly and is easy to put on. Most halters are crazy. You must watch the video to understand how they fit. But it's easy, a simple click and you're done. Best of all, it's NOT around their necks, so you won't strangle them if you pull on the leash (both pugs and chihuahuas have windpipes that collapse easily)…

We love our Goobies! All three of my dogs have them and they are by far our favorite harnesses we've bought this year. They are soft so you can wear them on your dog most of the time and not worry about any discomfort. Also, every time someone sees the word "Goofy" on their dishes, they smile because it's just a funny, silly name. Comb your dog's coat, otherwise constant use of the harness can cause the longer coat to become tangled.

The harness is made of nice lightweight material and I like the deep V-neck so all the pressure is distributed low on the chest, away from the windpipe. However, the size is very unusual. I have an 8lb Maltipoo, 9" neck, 15" girth which makes her look small according to the size chart. I like Gooby products and have bought this tableware before. However, the latest batches of this style do not allow you to thread the clip through the loops at the back so you can wrap the strap around your chest. This simple fix is to tell the manufacturer that the stitches only need to be 1/8-1/4 inch wider for you to slide the clip through. I didn't like this hardness at first but recently I've tried again. I like it now. I have an 8 pound Yorkie. I ordered the medium and it fits great. I had to adapt and play with his tension but he holds it very well. When a little Yorkie is walking around, I constantly pull them away from other dogs, the street, and especially squirrels. I have a 6lb Malsha, 4 months old! She's adorable but can slip out of almost any harness! I've bought at least 10 different harnesses (no exaggeration!) and she was able to slip out of all of them! I finally realized that she broke out of her harness. This Gooby head harness is the only one she can't get out of! I am so thankful that I found her as I was afraid we would lose her! EDIT: The buckle on this leash hit my Morka's elbow and caused her pain. A large, bulky connector should be at the top and back of the harness. So I ordered a small gooby step in a halter with a buckle in the upper back. It was WAY too little. So I wanted to exchange it for a stretcher the same day it arrived. My 16lb boston terrier has had this harness for five months and I love it! It looked more comfortable, fit well and the fittings were much lighter than similar harnesses.
