We bought these on the recommendation of our water systems specialist to upgrade to a higher micron filter. Previously replaced 10 micron filters every 3 weeks as they clog easily and significantly reduce water delivery. Was concerned that sediment and other contaminants would pass through a more porous filter, but there was no degradation in taste or water analysis results. The multi-packaging option is also very handy to reduce the number of replacement orders. Very pleased with the durability and efficiency of these filter cartridges.
