For a long time I was looking for a video baby monitor with a convenient and practical attachment to the crib, to be honest, there is no choice at all, it seems that manufacturers around the world just don’t care how parents install the baby unit, no one even gives any recommendations about this, stupidly on the table or on the wall. I found this Unilife model on the Internet, I’ve been using it for half a year, one conclusion, you won’t find a better option with an autonomous battery and a mount, I’ll explain why (some conclusions are not obvious, but I’ll write anyway): - an external battery can always be changed, unlike the built-in one, which must be charged after discharging, you can buy an additional battery separately if you need a long time without an outlet and just change them - the capacity of the battery from Unilife is at least twice as much as I have seen in other models with a built-in battery (and I repeat them once or twice and counted), that is, you yourself understand the operating time twice as much - I was also interested in the question of the reliability of fastening the battery and the camera, in the case of Unilife, I can say for sure, everything is extremely reliable (I am attaching a photo), the design itself is arranged according to the "inserted and snapped" principle, everything is very tight, two latches hold tightly (did specially a photo in a horizontal form, so that it can be seen that nothing moves away from each other under its own weight). You can also snap off the battery from the camera quickly, but for six months I have never needed this, the battery is constantly on the camera, and the camera itself works either from it or from the outlet (if it is nearby) I won’t describe the rest of the video baby monitor’s functions, in fact, I needed video and sound, it works without failures.
