Review on π§ Enhanced Metra 95-7863 Honda Element Double DIN Kit for 2003 and beyond by Lukundo Lim
Good if you want a 1/2 inch recessed surface instead of a flush surface for a Pioneer double din block.
Purchased to complete the installation of a Pioneer AVH-1400NEX on a Honda Element. This piece's bezel, which wraps around the two-tier stereo system, protrudes above the faceplate, causing the controls and screen to be recessed by 1/2 inch rather than flush. If I had known that, I would not have ordered this product. There is no way to change it or adapt it to the front of the dashboard. I returned it straight away. Unless you want it sunk (1 extra star for that particular sunk finish) I would look elsewhere for one with a bezel that fits flush.
