When I was a kid the camera was called the Brownie. Those were relatively horrific shots. If you feel it in the pool, in all likelihood that was the end of the brownie. Now my grandchildren have a camera that takes pictures underwater at a depth of up to 3 meters. The images are stored on the SD card and are therefore immediately available. And they're a lot better than the grainy black and white pictures of the fifties. One cell for three children aged 5 1/2 years (granddaughter twins) and three is sufficient. If they give their grandchildren a camera 65 years later, I can only imagine how sophisticated it would seem to us today.
