Very quick and easy to set up. Simply connect the included HDMI and USB cables to your computer and the appropriate ports and connect the HDMI port, keyboard and mouse to the back of the box. You have to be ready to go. I hooked up a windows server and laptop while both were working and after adjusting the server's display settings for the 'new' monitor it worked. My Mac mini connected just as easily. I am using a bluetooth/wireless keyboard and a separate wireless mouse and the keys plug into the slots on the back of the KVM box. You can switch between devices by pressing the select button on the front panel or by using the included remote control. You will need to provide your own CR2025 batter for the remote control. Please note that despite being a 4 port device only 2 HDMI/USB cables are included hence I am deducting 1 star. I had to scour through replacement cables to find a USB A to USB B cable to connect my Mac mini.
