Works. I like the end of the probe which is quite sharp which makes it easier to get into small spots compared to my other tester which has a flat head probe. First there was a problem that it wasn't working. It turned out that the bulb was installed crookedly and had no contact with the battery. A little tweaking with a thin screwdriver solved the problem and all is well now. The packaging is PITA and if you don't open it carefully, the instructions on where and how to install the batteries can easily be thrown away. It probably would have been 4 stars but an issue with the light installation knocked it down to 1 as such a bug shouldn't be.
