I tried very hard to love this item. It has great build quality, is 90% self-inflating to make your life easier, and comes with a quality carrying case that fits easily in your Tesla. The main problem is the size. If you are a lone hiker about 5ft 8in tall then you will probably love this. But my wife and I struggled to share this thing on the back of our Model Y. Some Tesla custom products follow the shape of a car and can support themselves from the back door to the seat backs, giving you almost the entire car from your bed. Since this area is just a rectangle, you'll have to be content with its area. I also haven't seen any product that can do anything about the fact that the Y doesn't have a truly flat surface so sleeping on your side would be uncomfortable. This is car camping. We ended up buying an all-purpose mattress that was cheaper, bigger, and less folded than we prefer.
