I recently made the decision to make my home smarter. After researching the best way to do this, I purchased a Brilliant Smart Home Control 2 switch panel for my living room. The device arrived quickly and I found the installation very easy. I've connected it to Alexa, a smart thermostat, and multiple smart plugs. It's very convenient to have a wired switch that can control lights etc and also because it can control other systems in the house with your voice or a handy touchpad. The video feature is very helpful to me as my teenage daughter is non-verbal and has special needs. I can stop by and watch her while I'm in my office or in the garage if I need to check on her quickly. Another great feature that helps her is the ability to communicate with the house to control the lights and fan through her alternative communication device (her "speaker") by asking Alexa to do it for her. I also really appreciate that the Brilliant unit can be connected to the Honeywell T9 thermostat that I bought. Now we can control the temperature much better from the living room without getting out of bed. In the future I plan to connect it to other smart home functions (locks, etc.). I highly recommend Brilliant Smart Home Control!
