For years I swore by Cashel Crusaders and was hesitant to try another brand, but when they resized to no longer fit my small head , I tried these. in XLarge. What a wonderful mask, a bit intimidating at first as it seems like a solid structure but once on the horse it becomes clear how it works. The fit is perfect, the velcro is really secure almost to the point where it's difficult to remove and the dome protects the horse's eyes and creates a boxy interior. Be prepared that your horse will look like a medieval steed, but it's worth it. By the way, I've been using it for almost a month without incident.
