Can't beat the price. On my Deore XT 1x11, the upper chain guide was subject to slight friction and noise. The fit and adjustment was very good and the construction seems pretty solid. The top and bottom didn't seem to affect the system much. I removed the top and bottom rails and left the guard on, but if you don't mind friction noise being a bother or riding mostly downhill, this might be perfect. This is probably a great way to find out if you like chain guides before you spend a lot more money on something out of the ordinary.
