I bought this unit to replace a smaller mini PC (J3455 based) that was struggling with more than a few browser tabs. This guy just surfs the internet fast. At the moment I have 16 tabs open, two or three videos are playing and the task manager shows CPU usage at around 10% with spikes of up to 30%. When I open a big tab like Facebook, it hits almost 100% right away, but not a flat top (which would mean the program is using more CPU than the machine can provide). Overall I'm impressed, especially considering how small it is. I replaced the included 1TB hard drive with a 1TB Samsung SSD I had lying around. It wasn't too difficult. The box is very well made, the bottom can be unscrewed with four screws. There was even a little rubber tab I could pull on. Once inside, I found a hard drive in a subframe that needed to be removed (four screws). I had to unplug a two wire cable to get the subframe out. Once removed, the WD drive came loose with four screws, the SSD went in with the same four screws, and the box was easy to reassemble. I needed a fairly small screwdriver as one takes apart a laptop. And tweezers would be helpful to reconnect that two-wire connector. I had to launch Disk Management and format the SSD. This is the first AMD system I've seen in about 20 years. I've been an Intel store since my adventure around 2000 with a Duron motherboard that didn't last long enough to install a Linux distribution. I have to say I'm impressed. Both Ethernet adapters failed, throwing a "general error" when attempting to ping any host from the command line. A "general error" is generally very bad news - it means something isn't working and the system can't understand why. I was able to fix this by downgrading the Realtek driver to an earlier version (2015).
