Bought to power the house from the battery during power outages. I have this cable to power my house from a switchboard. While I certainly can't run 220v lights, I can light up any 115v circuits around the house. There is LED lighting throughout the house, clocks, cell phone chargers, radio, refrigerator and television. It nourishes everything like regular food. I've had this installed for over a year, the unit sits outside in a barn winter and summer. The only thing I don't like is that it comes with flimsy power cords. At 1200 watts you need to draw 110 amps on the 12 volt side. Those little wires they send with the inverter aren't even close to what's needed to provide full power. You will need 2 AWG wire to get full performance. But it always worked when needed. I would buy another.
