The base controller I received with my first 100 watt kit was not good, suggesting it is working properly. I have a good feeling that it is charging properly based on the LED indicators. Also this one can work with the second panel I got and it works fine with 2 x 100w panels. The inverter does a good job of charging the batteries in my hand tools and also keeps the main solar battery charged.

I chose this unit based on some reviews and the price was spot on, love the extra built in charge controller. I installed this in my workshop as a test, I will be adding panels so for now I need to add a bigger charge controller, I'll see how this little guy holds up. I have already tested my hand grinder, angle grinder and belt sander, in the next few days I will test my compressor and other tools while I am happy with the current results.

I love this inverter! I built a "magic tree house" and used this inverter for my simplest power setup and it works great! I leave it 24/7. The photos show all the lights (house, bridges, bathrooms), sink (water pump) and projector and I haven't had any problems yet. I only have 2 solar panels, 2 golf cart batteries and this inverter. I'm so happy with it. I am planning to build a hobbit house and will buy it for this house.

I hooked this up to a 35ah battery and 150w solar panel in my quad for offline lighting and device charging, works great! I separately ran a 1500+W Keurig coffee maker, a small pancake compressor (a 5.25hp vacuum with little trouble starting), a small heater for a short time, and also turned off the TV and Xbox.
