Cuisinart Stand Mixer Cup cracked again and replacement cost about $40. I saw this and thought "why not?" After using it for a few days I can say that it has several advantages over Cuisinart: - Easier to assemble and use - Much easier to assemble the safety mechanism - The blade seats of the spindle so it's easy to remove - no longer has a hole in the middle of the cup like the Cuisinart - Inexpensive - works just as well and is MUCH cheaper - Has a spout at the top for easy pouring, unlike the Cuisinart I know not why food processors have to be so expensive - it's basically just a bowl with a blade - happy to find one at a reasonable price. Cons: - The lid is not waterproof, which means liquids can leak. The mug is designed for 12 cups, so you may not encounter this problem.
