I had planned to use this item to play background music CDs when my group sang at nursing homes and hospitals. I would hook it up to our Bose sound system and our mixer. Unfortunately since Covid we have not been permitted back into those places to perform. However, if I keep it charged, it comes in very handy when we have a prolonged power outage as we did the other night. It was easy to rehearse music using the portable player. I also can take my music with me when I am working out in the yard. The headphones allow me to listen without disturbing the neighbors. Great sound quality even without being hooked up to the speakers. Operation buttons are a tad small, but having the remote solves this problem.
