Review on Platypod Ultra: Compact Flat Tripod for DSLR, Mirrorless, and Compact Cameras by Connie Lewis

I've wanted to buy a Platypod Ultra for a long time, but I had my doubts about using it. It was fun to use and useful for taking pictures I wouldn't take otherwise. In just a few weeks since I got it there have been a couple of situations where I've had the really low angle I was looking for and haven't gotten until now. I've used it in the high school gym to get a fresh look at basketball games and at the beach to prop my camera up on rocks for a lower perspective at sunsets. I like that it can be attached to the pants belt loop with a carabiner. This is a very durable product and I look forward to using it in a wide variety of locations, especially places where tripods and monopods are not allowed.
