These boxes are perfect for storing Legos and little people and we have plenty of both. Children can open and close them on their own, and they have even climbed them without the tops collapsing or the children hurting themselves. Our kids are almost two and three years old so I don't know how they handle older kids but we love them. We bought our first set a few years ago but our collection of legos and little people has grown a lot and we didn't have enough storage space so we needed more bins. We have ordered a second set and I am pleased to report that these containers appear to be just as strong and durable as the first set so we are very pleased.
