Worked great for topping up old cars with petrol (from a can).
The same does not apply to newer cars. I bought this to fill a jerry can of gas into a model 80's truck that I use on my property and rarely get out on the road. Works great, but you have to be careful not to water too quickly. I screwed up a flexible spout that got stuck in a valve in the filler. This funnel was sturdy and strong enough to avoid this and long enough to easily reach. I found it very expensive for a simple funnel but it works.
