Very nice but compact console table. The assembly takes a few minutes. Just four screws that can be tightened with the included handy L-wrench. All parts are perfectly matched and once assembled it became a very strong and stable table. I am impressed with the quality painted items. My only disappointment is that the table is rather small. A little more would have made it perfect. This table should last forever. Drawers open and close smoothly. It's not a one time thing. I will replace the handles to give the table a more personal touch. I can age the table a bit to give it a warm look. The label says Made in China, which is good news. I'm guessing the wood comes from the US but is cut in China and shipped to the US. The packaging used too much styrofoam but it was securely packaged. I recommend this table, but I suggest finding one at a thrift store/flea market first before ordering. i broke my rule recommended
