I bought the 29" version to replace the stock Suntour on my 2016 Specialized Myka. The fork works well and feels better than the Suntour. I love that I can adjust the air pressure to suit my weight and there is also a compression and lockout adjustment which the Suntour didn't have. You can also adjust the rebound. It was also lighter than the standard Suntour. It worked well enough for me that I bought the 27.5" version to upgrade a classic full suspension bike. Well, negative. I took off a star because for some reason the fork brake mount wouldn't release my Tektro hydraulic brakes on the 203mm rotor I have on the bike. This is the same rotor and mounting adapter that I used on the Suntour fork installed in the same and did not have enough play when tightening the mounting bolt. I had to put in a couple of washers (3 to be exact) to get the brakes clean. I know you shouldn't have done this, but I have a longer bolt to compensate for. I didn't want to look for another adapter that works. As you can see in the picture, I've circled the spots where the puck is. The mounting adapter I'm using is correct, it's Shimano, and it worked with the Suntour fork, so I suspect there's something odd about that particular fork that's causing this. A standard that the manufacturer has misunderstood or not followed. I will review the 27.5 version separately as I am waiting for my disc brake calipers to arrive so I can install them to see if this issue applies to my fork. Or maybe it's just not compatible with that particular caliper model.
