At first I didn't think I needed such a cable. Have a range of Type-C cables and 12V to USB adapters. The problem is that the wires were only about 2-3 feet long and didn't run from the outlet to the switch (attached to a lever that connects to the Jeep Grand Cherokee passenger seat headrest). I had a 2m cable and it worked for a while but was quite thick. I spent over $20 on this cable and it was way too long and got stuck between seats. I had a thin one where the switch just didn't recognize it was plugged in. I plucked up courage and bought the Power A charger. The length and weight were almost perfect. I had a couple of wire wraps that I used on the thick wire to route the wire to the switch. Rocking the seat back and forth didn't stretch the cable too much and didn't leave much excess to keep snagging. The cable is a fabric jacket, not rubber or plastic. Very durable.
