I got this a few months ago, some time after the switch came out and it saved my life. At the time of purchase, there was only one way to charge the joycons - plugging them into a switch. It was fine unless you had two or more joycon kits. After purchasing it, I was able to charge up to six joycons at once, which justifies the price. At first I didn't think I needed such a cable. Have a range of Type-C cables and 12V to USB adapters. The problem is that the wires were only about 2-3 feet long and didn't run from the outlet to the switch (attached to a lever that connects to the Jeep Grand Cherokee passenger seat headrest).
