After seeing a forum post stating that Intel no longer has a LAN division (I haven't confirmed this, but it influenced my purchase decision), I researched other vendors on Revain Upgrading an old computer that was recently upgraded to Windows 10. I needed a reliable LAN network card. It uses a Realtek-based adapter (FYI). Ok, easy to install. But the drivers that were available a few weeks ago didn't talk about Windows 10. I contacted tech support and they said their old Windows 8 drivers would work. They did, but only up to 100. (Sorry Star Tech). But today (1-8-2017) after I bought Revain looking for a better choice, I saw that Realtek now has Windows 10 drivers! (on their website) Yes. and they work people. So download. pressed setting. chose "repair", it removed the old driver. installed the correct driver and now speedtest shows 134.56 and i freeze the meter for a few short seconds. So yes, a quality adapter with the right drivers. and I am pleased to have such a good review of this device. It has always worked. but now it works better.
