This is absolutely worth the money. I paid $29 and got my money. I'm deducting a start because the listing specifically states that this version is for larger laptops and is slightly smaller than the bezel on my thin-bezel 17.3-inch laptop. That wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't so smooth and slippery, but it is. It is made of hard plastic. So unless you're using it on a flat surface (but honestly, even then) it slips and slides. Luckily I had self-adhesive floor pads that you stick to furniture legs so they don't scratch the floor. I put one on each of the four sides as far as possible so they don't restrict the airflow of the fans and now my laptop slides a lot less. But that's definitely a problem. If the manufacturer is reading this, please try to fix this issue in future iterations. Even just a thin rubber pad around the edges or small rubber stickers for the customer to affix if needed, but given its current appearance I was very frustrated with how unstable the laptop seemed to be standing on it. I'm very happy now that I added my little Home Fix because it's a really great device. When it's on your lap, you can feel the air escaping the sides, which is a lot nicer than feeling your thighs burn after an hour with the laptop. It has a cooling effect, significantly cooling the laptop while being surprisingly quiet.
