Great tool. Makes professional cuts, giving you choice and flexibility. Forget the frame store. Suggestions: 1) Make 5-10 test cuts. 2) Make sure you are working in a well-lit area. 3) Using a soft sheet, make sure the tips under the base are fully in contact with the matte cardstock to be cut. Apply appropriate pressure to the base and make sure you understand how to maintain pressure without interfering with cutter arm movement. Keep the base stable and don't loosen the ends from the matte panel. 4) Keep blades sharp; Change it every 3-4 cuts and remove any dull cutting residue on the tip (which is preventing the blade from cutting cleanly). Cutting arm to prevent the cutting carriage from moving or floating out of the existing cutting line.
