Review on Baseus CRJS03 black by Wiktor Wnkowicz ᠌

Normal product, but wanted more for the money.

Based on the test results, I still think that I was in a hurry with the purchase. Perhaps it is better to keep a spare small capacity battery in the trunk with wires for lighting the main one as a safety net - it will be more reliable. The device is supplied without a charger, but with a cable for connecting to charging from any mobile phone via USB. Lacks a practical bag or storage case. The box in which the device is delivered is hardly suitable for storage in the trunk.

Pros
  • Assembled with high quality. Wires with "crocodiles" of good quality. You can charge your mobile phone via USB. The built-in flashlight is very handy. The starter connector avoids errors when connecting to the battery by lighting a green signal when everything is ready.
Cons
  • The charge level indicator and the device itself work unpredictably. For the experiment, I tried to start a car with a dead battery. Immediately after starting, the readings remained at 100%, and then a minute later the device began to show 75%. Subsequently, I tried to start the car again, but the charge level remained at 75%. Thus, it was not clear whether the device helped start the car this time or not. Then I charged up to 100% and left it in the trunk in the cold. So he lay somewhere for a couple of weeks, and I decided to try it again. I made sure that the charge was displayed at 100%, connected it to the battery, but did not have time to start it: after a few seconds, the red lamp on the crocodile connector lit up, which signaled a low charge. And now the charge indicator showed already 8%. Some strange system. If the battery goes to zero, it will not be possible to start the car using the device: the protection implemented on the crocodile connector will not give the go-ahead to start until it feels some voltage on the battery.
