Review on Van Ness Control Translucent Enclosed by Claudia Brown

I've been buying extra Van Ness giant top toilets for a few years now and they are solid. I still use them. As I needed a few extra trays (preparing to go out of town for a few days and relieve the nanny) I ordered 5 of these trays with clear lids. I ordered them in 3 different sizes. The first came whole. All other 4 came in large plastic bags surrounded by packaging and a sturdy box. One of the 4 had a broken lid but there were no shards in the bag to suggest it was broken prior to packing. Very bad deal! The remaining 3 were missing one or more of the tabs that the lid uses to snap onto the pan and only one of the tabs was in the plastic bag, indicating the items were also broken prior to packaging. Worse, they are not durable. They are made of thinner material than older models and one of the shells cracked on first use. SO disappointing! I cannot recommend this newer and thinner version of what has always been a great product.
