Poor quality, outdated wiring diagram

Outdated instructions, random wire colors not conforming to any known wiring standard. The speaker codes match the colors of my radio wiring. Two black wires, you need to look at the position to tell them apart. Worse, there is only one positive wire. So unless your radio is so old that it doesn't have a digital display, you'll have to choose between turning the car on and off each time, or losing settings when you turn the car off. (I cut off the end of one of the preamp cables for one of the power connectors). The holes in the bracket are smaller than the screws, and if you press down hard on the nuts in the case (as if the holes were a little small), the nuts will separate from the adhesive. They didn't fall out but twisted when tightened, before final assembly I smeared them with epoxy putty.

Pros
  • RADIO BRACKET: The Marine Stereo/CD Player comes with a heavy duty stainless steel bracket that provides adequate rigidity. This housing is compatible with dual wave receivers and DIN size
Cons
  • receivers. Available in white only.
