These are adorable shoes, but they scratch incredibly easily. I would recommend spraying them with protectant as soon as you receive them as my son damaged the finish quite a bit in the few hours he wore them. Overall they hold up well after being sprayed with protectant and my son loves running in them. Simply his favorite shoes!

I was looking for minimalist shoes and these fit me! Zero drop, wide toe box and flexibility. They're a little bigger than expected, but kids grow up so fast I'm not worried. I hope they last a while - I'll update them after a few months of wearing.

I love Merrill's for my daughter! She has my peasant feet - wide and on the flat side. They are so flexible for all their climbs and runs. They don't squeeze her legs and allow her to stretch.

My daughter is very confident about walking/running/climbing, but as she transitioned to more durable toddler shoes and dropped baby steppers, she started not tripping all the time. I switched it to it and it went back to its normal speed - no crashes. You are really barefoot and it's great for little feet.

These shoes are perfect for my sons with wide feet. They are great for his activity level. Continuous. A lightweight. Excellent traction. They don't have an uncomfortable heel height. Highly recommended. But it will be available again in the next size.

My 2 year old wears a size 7.5 or so. Ordered them as a 7 and they are still a bit big for her but not so big that they are uncomfortable. The quality is very solid. The shoe is soft but structured enough to support young hikers. I also love the simple and stylish look! The only thing that bothers me is that they are a little tight on a small foot, especially since most toddlers don't really know how to properly resist putting shoes on easily.

Very good shoes. I decided to return them because they were too big. They appear to be larger than other brands like the See Kai Run and the Stride Rite (I compared the size 4 of these shoes to the See Kai Run in the photo). I will be buying them in the future and hope by then I will have figured out if my daughter needs an M or W width.

I'm not sure what other people's standards are for walking barefoot, but this is absolutely NOT barefoot. These are good shoes and definitely better than 'regular' shoes, but my whole family has many styles of sandals and they are stiff and thick in comparison - even compared to regular toddler Striderites they are bricks. The fingers are a little flexible, but not in the midline, and they definitely can't curl. Please don't advertise them as sandals. that is not right. Otherwise they look good

That's ridiculous. I received a shoe in the box when it was delivered. The next day I needed shoes for my son and now I have to run and look for shoes somewhere. Also, the packaging looked terrible.

These shoes have endured a lot of abuse. They are very easy to clean and dry fairly quickly when they inevitably get wet in a muddy puddle. My only issue is the soles - I find them a bit less flexible than I would expect from a minimalist shoe. Still better than most shoes I could find. The zero-drop outsole, lack of arch support, and wide toe box make this shoe pretty decent for foot development.

These shoes are amazing, my kid loves them! I really like that they have arch support, a flat base (heel is no higher than toe) and roomy toe. Ideal for training legs and gates. The leather is soft and the material of the heel is strong and doesn't dig in. Highly recommended!

We had one pair of these shoes until our baby outgrew them and loved them so much we ordered another pair. At this large size, the tongue sometimes gets stuck in the shoes, but other than that I find them pretty perfect. It's a beautiful look that can go from casual to dressy, and they're easy to slip on and off.
