My little boy has just started walking and I wanted a comfortable pair of shoes that he could wear with a lot of his clothes. I didn't want to spend a lot either, knowing he'd probably outgrow them in a short time. These shoes were great. They are easy to put on and take off, they look very cute and he walks in them very easily. He also seems to have thick legs, so the wide version worked well for us. I wouldn't mind getting the same shoes in a larger size when he grows up.

How nice to find a minimalist shoe with a wide toe for our little one! The leather is flexible and the outsole is durable with small grooves. Socks are a must because of the leather! Our daughter loves them! Great price and looks like they will last!

I usually take my son XW to Saucony or kick rite. The width is very wide at Merrell and too wide for my son. Next time I'll go with the regular width and it should work just fine.

These are great shoes for my new hikers. I'm a size 4 and they fit slightly larger compared to the other 4 we had but we just waited a bit and she grew in it. The toe box is wider than say our Step Rites but I think she likes it as her toes aren't as tight. The width is also normal compared to the rites of the step. I bought a standard size pair of shoes but they didn't quite fit. I sent them back and ordered a pair of "W" (wide) in the same size. The "W" shoes fit my grandson perfectly.

I really like these shoes but more importantly my autistic grandson who also has sensory issues loves them. Until we found them, it was difficult to get him to wear shoes. Merrell, PLEASE do this for older children. We are a size 10 and are heartbroken that we will not have them again.

I didn't really think I'd spend $50 on toddler shoes, but I think I bought 10 pairs and returned them before finally giving in. My little guy has wide feet and even wide shoes from other brands were still narrow. They're spot on, they're pretty cute on it too. They're not too bulky so he can walk in them with ease.
