I bought this to enter the bedroom door, I have an air conditioner in the bedroom which I like to close and don't need to go around the whole thing To cool the house the other rooms have their own air conditioners but I don't need to turn them all on so I got this door so my dog can get in or out of the bedroom without opening the door and letting air in. heavier and longer. The best idea. I have a large, my dog is 6lbs and it goes right through. I made it as close to the ground as possible so she doesn't have to jump up to get through, she only has to rise an inch. I'm so happy with it and my bedroom door was hollow so I didn't mind punching a hole in it.
