I have an old laptop (2017, HP Envy). The documentation for this USB-C dock does not fully cover all possible situations (the documentation never does). So I emailed and expected a turnaround time of 48 hours with less than helpful replies. "Sylvia" from support replied within an hour (first surprise) and stayed with my issue (and more questions) until we fully resolved it (biggest surprise). Within 2 hours I was up and running with the new docking station which is damn fast. My old USB 3.0 docking station was a bit of a hassle - it reminded me of the early days when you could click your machine, go for a coffee, and the boot process was almost complete. So: a great product that works as advertised and is easy to install. Then ADD unexpectedly excellent and proactive service. Finally. Sylvia even sent me a small partial refund because the paperwork didn't describe my situation! I want all my computer problems to be solved so smoothly. Pay attention to HP, Dell, Apple? This is how it's done.
