It is inconvenient to hold the flashlight next to the microscope to see what is underneath because it only shines from below. And although AmLite is software offered on a disc for use with a Mac, it doesn't work with a Mac (which I only know because I accidentally ordered this microscope twice, but from two different sellers, and a different seller included a disc). Also, I got what looks like two lenses that I had to assemble myself, but I won't try to figure it out. I am returning this (and other similar ones) because I need to see the image on the electronic screen.
