Wow! I was immediately struck by the weight of the product! Expecting (from previous similar purchases) another lightweight "cheap". NO! This is high quality in every respect! The slicing guides are very strong, the bamboo pieces are beautifully finished and the ability to slice loaves of different thicknesses is amazing! I bake a lot of homemade bread and I look forward to slicing PERFECT slices for sandwiches, thick french toast, perfect thickness of toast, not to mention finally having PERFECT AND UNIFORM slices of dessert bread for brunch and desserts when the guests arrive. I highly recommend this one!
