Excellent cut for homemade bread. Love the fact that the rails and the floor you cut into are made of white polyethylene and not bamboo (because bamboo can splinter). The product is well made. Cleans well. would definitely buy again.

The knife that was supposed to come with this bread slicer did not arrive in the original box but the company quickly sent me a replacement knife and I like the product overall. I will definitely use this company again!

This is the third bread slicer guide I have and it is the best. It folds neatly for storage and has a pocket to slip your device into to keep it clean between uses. It's quick and easy to assemble and even comes with a bread knife. I am happy with this purchase.

It's hard to get perfect slices of soft loaves of bread in a breadmaker, but it makes it possible. We've found that placing a wooden "fence" in front of the loaf (rather than behind it as shown in the picture) works better for us. This food slicer is very well made and easy to store. Thanks for a great product!

I am so happy with this bread slicer! I started making my own sandwich bread after three different types of bread I bought started smelling like acetone and chemicals on the third day. This planer is high quality, no splinters, easy to assemble, clean and store. Multiple size guides are awesome and a longer blade comes in handy. Have already recommended it to several others.

The bread slicer looks good but one of the side pieces doesn't fit the base very well so I have to lower it. The vertical "fingers" between which the knife passes are curved, so the slices are seldom the same width from top to bottom, and not even the same size. The crumb tray is good and it would be even better if more crumbs fell into it. All in all, I'm disappointed in this thing and upset with myself for missing the return window end date.

Wow! I was immediately struck by the weight of the product! Expecting (from previous similar purchases) another lightweight "cheap". NO! This is high quality in every respect! The slicing guides are very strong, the bamboo pieces are beautifully finished and the ability to slice loaves of different thicknesses is amazing! I bake a lot of homemade bread and I look forward to slicing PERFECT slices for sandwiches, thick french toast, perfect thickness of toast, not to mention finally having…

Looking for a bread slicer and after searching many pages of "wood cutter" products with warnings about splinters in a slice of bread I kept searching until; Viola! Eureka!; and finally came across this one! I saw the weight was around 5 pounds and was impressed with how the food slicer became more stable during use. I also love that the cutting guides and bottom platform are made of the same material that plastic cutting boards are made of: white polyethylene! Very strong and durable material!
