Does the job for car mounts
This thing, like all RAM mounts, holds what you need and does it well. I use it for my Humminbird Helix 7 sonar and it holds the unit securely. I've used several RAM mounts over the years and they continue to work well for me. Even if you DON'T NEED it, I would recommend buying it to be able to fine tune the viewing angle. It's also nice to be able to quickly remove your hardware!
