Seems to work in the area of welding and soldering
Did a quick test, could sweat on copper and aluminum and stuck together. The bond is quite strong and the material itself is harder than aluminum and copper. Melting it before the aluminum starts to melt doesn't seem to be a problem, the copper side heats up to a dull red color before the solder melts.
