Great things. I've tried everything I know to reduce hard water stains on glass shower doors. I came across a YouTube video that explains how to soak your faucets or surfaces with vinegar to remove chalky water stains. I couldn't just spray vinegar on the shower doors because it was just dripping anyway. Since this stuff is mostly oxalic acid, I thought it could safely be mixed with another cleaning acid (vinegar) to make a double strength cleaning paste. It worked. I used about an ounce of this detergent with 1/2 teaspoon vinegar and mixed well to a thin paste-like consistency, or to the point where I knew it would stick to the glass without spreading. I applied the paste with a paper towel and let it sit for about 2 hours or maybe longer. I checked with a damp magic sponge to see if that would do and as you know all the hard water, limescale that had barely moved from many previous cleaning attempts was completely wiped off and the glass looked brand new. The elbow does not need to be lubricated. Just a regular wash. I hope this helps someone else.
