Basic set of steel braces with screws, supplied in plastic bag without storage case. Well, if it helps cut costs. The spacers themselves work well and I use them all the time to reinforce shelves, furniture etc. I've also used them to attach lighting fixtures to exposed rafters, such as in a garage. There are many uses and steel is strong and can support a lot of weight when needed. For added strength, installation takes just a minute with an impact driver and a #2 Philips bit. The screws are flat headed and the brackets are recessed for a smooth finish. You can paint the steel if you like, it helps to clean it and brush it with sandpaper or steel wool first to roughen up the finish. I usually screw them in where they are hidden and didn't bother to paint them. Overall a strong but easy repair brace. You may not need all 16 now, but they're great for polishing that next piece of furniture. There are no complaints or criticisms of this product, the brackets and screws are stainless steel and should not rust when used in wet or damp areas.
