Review on 🔌 Sabrent USB 3.0 Hub for iMac Slim Uni-Body (HB-IMCU) - 4-Port High-Speed Connectivity by Montez Vazquez

I bought this hub for two reasons: 1. I needed more accessible USB ports. 2. Since my 2017 iMac's built-in mic never worked properly, I have to use either wired headphones with in-line mic or headphones via Bluetooth. I prefer the tethered connection most of the time because I get the best sound and I don't have that annoying latency issue when the video and audio are out of sync over Bluetooth. Also, I conduct a lot of audio meetings and need a reliable login for those meetings. So after connecting my 2.1 speakers to my iMac, I need an audio input solution. I used a USB-C to 3.5 inch adapter so I could use it. But within 2 months this adapter broke. So I decided to take a risk and buy a USB-C hub with audio to regain my tethered connection. I was very disappointed to see that the standard audio jack isn't an output/input like all computers do, so I still had to buy a 3.5" USB-C adapter to make it work. That's my only disappointment otherwise GREAT hardware. It wasn't as easy to install as I would have liked.
