Shark vs Roomba - Robot Vacuum

I love this vacuum cleaner and highly recommend it. I will never vacuum by hand again. My floors are spotless! I've never owned a Roomba, but I read hundreds of reviews from different brands before I bought a Shark. Here's what you need to know. The shark is powerful and picks up dirt and dust you didn't even know existed. Its performance is likely to be similar to the more expensive Roomba versions. Although there is a big difference here. The shark is very quiet, can stay in the same room and does not disturb television or conversations. It's just a little background noise. It will not irritate your pets, spouse or children. I read a lot of reviews that the only downside to the Roomba is the noise, plus it's a lot more expensive. Now here's what else you should know. Shark's low price means it lacks navigation. So he kind of wanders around when you can't lock him in a room for a deep cleaning. My thought process is that if you run it every day it will get all the stains. But the cheapest version of the Roomba with navigation is $700, while the Shark without navigation is around $300. I think you get a lot of value when you buy a Shark because honestly the only difference I think is the navigation between the models, plus the Roomba is noisy. The shark rarely gets stuck and gets in and out of tight spaces. It crawls under furniture, which is great if you're like me and never move furniture to vacuum. My first floor is about 2600 square feet and has a combination of hard floors and carpet. The shark is equally good at both. He freely moves between rooms, climbs thresholds, vacuums bathroom rugs, and vacuums a litter box that falls out of a litter box. The shark runs for at least 60 minutes, sometimes 75 minutes, and always finds its way back to the dock to recharge. I highly recommend the Shark for the price, suction and cleaning quality and quiet operation. This is truly a workhorse that is worth every penny. Three people bought the same vacuum cleaner after I showed them how well it works. If you're on the fence, buy and try. Send it back if you don't like it. But that won't happen. This will change your life. It's amazing, keeps your floors spotless and gives you time. Buy it! (I paid full price for my vacuum, so my rating is entirely my own opinion.) PS A photo shows the Shark in action. The second photo shows the trash can after it has been vacuumed for an hour. Do you think your floors are already clean and spotless before you vacuum and then look in the bin and wonder where all that dirt is coming from!?

Pros
  • Smart sensors assess its surroundings on all floors and carpets, adapting to obstacles and helping the robot navigate smoothly.
Cons
