If your ceiling fan runs slowly and there is little difference between the speed settings, a replacement will most likely solve the problem. it was for me My ceiling fans were 10 years old. They both slowed down badly around the same time, and no matter how fast I worked, nothing changed. The capacitors have been replaced with these and they work like new again. Great price, easy to install and now my fans are running at full speed. We live in Oklahoma so I'm glad I fixed them. It will be hot soon.
