Simple solution to save my designer fan!

So easy to replace a burned capacitor. Simply cut off the old wires, strip the ends, twist them together and seal with a wire connector. I'm so glad I didn't have to throw away an expensive designer ceiling fan for a simple &5 piece.

If you are not an expert, you should try

This 5-wire capacitor almost exactly matched my 18 year old 4-wire capacitor that came with the fan. The fan started humming and the high speed setting became very slow. The old capacitor had a single cathode wire (-) so I had to twist the two gray wires into a wire nut with the existing single wire on my fan. Full functionality and silent operation restored :)

Easy to Install Amplifier

If your ceiling fan runs slowly and there is little difference between the speed settings, a replacement will most likely solve the problem. it was for me My ceiling fans were 10 years old. They both slowed down badly around the same time, and no matter how fast I worked, nothing changed. The capacitors have been replaced with these and they work like new again. Great price, easy to install and now my fans are running at full speed. We live in Oklahoma so I'm glad I fixed them. It will be hot…
