Very happy with this product

I am very happy with this product. I've used a giant freestanding clothes dryer in my bedroom for years and I'm finally tired of it being a fixture in my room (my laundry room is small and doesn't have room for a hanger). I never seemed to forget to remove his clothes until I needed more room for my wet clothes. This thing was ALWAYS upstairs, loaded with clothes and clogging up my space. I hung this in my laundry room, high enough to be out of the way (and mostly out of the way when expanding) but low enough to be able to stretch out and hang things. Perfect! Since it gets in my way a bit when undressed and loaded with clothes (the fridge door wobbles a little in wet clothes when fully open), it reminds me to empty it once it's dry. Then I just push it back against the wall where it takes up almost no space and certainly no space used for anything else. It's solid and even though it's only hung from drywall (with dowels) it feels very solid. A lot or just a little can be pulled out, depending on how many clothes need to be hung. Now that I have a handy dryer in my laundry room, I tend to stay on top of the loads that "hang up to dry" a lot of stuff instead of piling it up. Setting up a proper stand was a bit tricky, it would have been much easier with two people. The only thing that could be improved was that the template that helped place the holes on the wall was rolled up and kept wanting to roll itself so I kept struggling with it to keep it flat against the wall. I tried using masking tape but it just peeled off the wall. I'm not sure why the paper had to be folded, I mean if the box is long enough for the product then it's long enough for the template.

Pros
  • Tumble Dryer
Cons
  • Long time
