Next, the rubber traction on the bottom (those round spikes) wears out very quickly, within a week you'll see significant wear in certain spots, almost to the base of the shoe. They're not designed for sustained use on concrete and you'll likely need to replace them within a few months if you wear them every day and walk enough in big cities. You cannot protect them like regular shoes by using shoe trees, which allows many shoes to last a very long time.
