I travel and use rental cars. The tires are invariably low and inconsistent. Rain and many kilometers are not uncommon for me when travelling, so I learned to check the tires from all sides at the beginning of the journey. Sensors at gas stations aren't reliable either, so I wanted to be prepared. I tested it before leaving it on our own machines where I use a large expensive but accurate sensor. This pressure gauge matched my loved ones. Besides the fact that the head can pivot to easily align with the tire, it's great that it has a pressure release button to reset the gauge and bleed air while you still have the gauge attached - it makes it so much bigger . It is easier to get accurate results without losing air if the sensor is removed from the tire. I just overflow and then dump what I don't need. This gives me good traction in dry, wet, or snow, as well as better gas mileage at around 38mpg on our last rental. I would buy this meter again.
